Just during the moment when Hermione left, another student came to Sherlock’s office.
The student Hermione knew her, named Colin Clivie, who was a freshman in Gryffindor this year. She also admired Harry frantically and kept taking pictures with her camera, which even made Harry feel bored.
“Can I take a photo with you professor? When I get home on Christmas, I will show my parents and my parents. After I entered Hogwarts, they have always wanted to know what this magic school looks like. My younger brother Dennis also wanted to know where I studied and lived, so I took a photo with my teachers and friends, planning to introduce it to them.”
Colin asked Sherlock with a camera in his hand.
Sherlock stopped his work, and of course he would not refuse such filial behavior, and even had a good impression of the boy.
“Yes,” he agreed.
Colin stood beside him with great joy, his shoulders just level with Sherlock sitting on the chair, then pointed the camera lens at him and pressed the shutter button with a smile on his face.
“Thank you professor. I have collected almost all the professors’ photos, and only Professor Snape is left. I plan to find him tomorrow, and I hope he can agree.”
Sherlock felt that his hope was slim. He really didn’t think Snape would agree to take photos together.
“Then I wish you good luck tomorrow.”
“Goodbye, professor.”
Waiting for Colin to leave at the door, Hermione walked into Sherlock’s office with a hesitant look.
Sherlock looked at Hermione who came in empty-handedly, and raised her eyebrows slightly.
“What happened Miss Granger? Where is my book?”
Hermione tried her best to make herself look very nervous, but in fact she didn’t need to show at all to be nervous enough.
She stammered.
“Yes, sorry, Professor Forrest, I kept my book note in my pocket when I arrived at the library, but it disappeared. Maybe it was lost on the road.”
“Lost?”
Sherlock looked at her and asked repeatedly.
“Yes, yes, professor, I’m sorry, but I’m really careless and don’t know when…”
Hermione explained in a hurry, but Sherlock interrupted her with a smile on her face.
“It’s okay, Miss Granger, I just threw out a loan note. I believe that even if someone picks it up, they won’t do anything bad, right?”
Hermione was very nervous now, even in December weather, her bumMy head began to sweat out.
With her intelligence, she must have heard what Sherlock had guessed, but she continued to bite the bullet and say.
“There will definitely be no professor who does bad things.”
Sherlock did not continue to make things difficult for him, so he pulled out a piece of parchment again, wrote a second loan note, and handed it to Hermione.
“This note will not be lost again, right?”
Hermione promised immediately.
“I swear, I will hand the book to your hands in ten minutes!”
“Go.”
After hearing Sherlock’s words, Hermione ran out of the office with a loan note, and Harry and Ron were waiting for her at the corner of the corridor and the stairs.
“How is it? Did Professor Forrest find out?”
Hermione looked heavy: “Although the professor didn’t say it clearly, I think he has discovered that we have tampered with his loan book.”
“He didn’t ask you why?” Ron asked nervously.
“No, he wrote me a loan note and asked me to go to the library to borrow books. You can wait for me first, and I will help the professor borrow the book back before finding you.”
